Here's a replay I've done of Ghouls n Ghosts (Daimakairmura) completed with 1-credit, almost 1-life!! I made it all the way to Loki, one of the easiest bosses in the game and I paniced and chocked and lost a single life... I originally wanted to get a 1-life replay recorded but this will have to do. The game is so random sometimes it's hard to get everything to fall into place in one go. I swear a little in the video at the end, but this is one of the harder videos I've made and I couldnt help it.  I was soo gutted I lost that life on Loki! he's such an easy boss!! ah well.Edited by Ex_Mosquito - 05 June 2013 at 11:27pm |

Good play Sir, the mental concentration is pretty intense ay :) Loved watching a pro though, have dabbled in this game and reckon I'm pretty good but I take my hat off to you for that epic play

serious skills dude, thats one tuff game. How long have you been playing it? Can you also complete Ghosts n Goblins? I have tried for years, well about 25 years damn it, to complete Ghosts n Goblins and never got past level 6 first time round. I have this vision of one day when im retired really going for it and finally cracking it after like 60 years of trying |

Heh thanks ;) I've worked it out, I bought it from Subcon959 off this forum and received it on 22th of June last month, so just under a month. Nah I've not really played ghosts n goblins that much to get good at it. I did used to play it a bit back in the day at caravn park arcades when I was a kid and on the Spectrum, but I couldn't play games very well back then to 1cc it. I really want to give it a serious try though, how much do they go for these days? I love the sound effects and music on the first game, they're so much more meatier I think. |

There was a guy in our local arcade who used to 1cc Ghost & Goblins every day but in 86  Its not that that hard apart from the last level that forces you to use the Cross/Shield..Some tips Shoot the graves on the first level till the Witch comes out then kill her(killing her 4 times should net you an extra life) and the dagger which is the best weapon.. Also the first level boss of Gargoyles Quest jump the money bag rather than collecting it the boss will move back and forth on the ground and can be killed quickly.. If you lose your armour jumping on the tilted cross in the background(after the boss), a pot drops with armour.. Forest after the jump with the Monks keep jumping and a Capcom sign will fall by the tree/Venus fly trap Town I assume you know You know about tapping forward and firing gives fast shots that kills bosses and the Trolls quickly.. After you climb the third ladder scroll to right and shot the troll through the wall.. The level your stuck on has an armour drop after the ladder jump early so you fall and miss the ledge and the pot will drop.. The next two Gargoyles can be outrun, before the dragon if you walk off you get a pot with a Capcom sign.. If you scroll the dragon on slowly it won't move and you get free shots on it!! The next level is short and very easy a few moving platforms, the fire bridge you just run through and scroll the dragon on slowly.. Also the red monster that takes the Princess away in the intro just run away from it, jump turn in the air and shoot |

Wow.. I have always envying ppl 1cc games... When will I ever be able to 1cc any GnG game?? Just started Ultimate GnG for psp a couple of weeks ago and D*MN its hard.. bought Super ghost n goblins for the snes also, but get my ass handed to me all the time.. Seroius Skills there m8!
