   this sunday is the scottish pinball meet. anyone who wants to come is more than welcome. although its governed by the uk pinball league, it is essentially a fun day playing pinballs. you dont need to join the league you dont even need to play pinball. there will be a great atmosphere and a great friendly bunch of folk. if you fancy it make the effort.

	update, the meet went well, as per normal. it was nice to meet malcolm from aberdeen, the last time i saw him it was at replay last year. also good to meet jugemscloud, he was declared youngest and fittest, so was declared in charge of transporting the bevvy. we met jugemscloud at queen st station, had a couple of beers then we went for tickets and discovered it was the wrong station so we walked down to central, and had a couple of beers in the hard rock cafe, they had an avatar pinball. we then went for tickets and were told no trains stopped at jons on a sunday i think we had another beer then we jumped a fast black over to jons. sadly i did both my wrists in on the saturday moving cabs about but i persevered and managed an 8th place. picked up 8 points. roz bud showed up and even managed to pick up 4 points. malcolm who drove down from aberdeen made it worth his while by picking up a second place with j higgins retaining first place another great day playing pinballs, so once again its a big thanks to jon and nikki for hosting it, and supplying food and drinks non stop for the day. another great meet made possible by the time and effort put in by jon and nikki. thanks guys we do appreciate it. cheers. john bud

	Glad you guys & Roz came along :-) Its certainly turning into a very popular and enjoyable way to play world ranking pinball & drink beer! 	im more of a bush man, sorry brushman. just got the stuff i need for the id cab, you gotts to get over and have a go. i have set it to 50p a shot and raised the robotron to a £1 roz is also coming. should be over for about 2 oclock. and just to prove a point im going to have a wash and get out of my working clothes

	well another great day was had the revenge from mars was way cool, a very nice pinball indeed. cactus canyon was very nice to play, as were they all. jon took second i took third, so hopefully over all im now back to second place. only 1 meet left now before the finals. i got a huge score on apollo 13, but sadly it wasnt recorded. only 63,000 from a new high score on it, i racked up a 100,000 score on cactus canyon, a new record. then jon humped it getting 150,000 plus the revenge from mars was the biz its a 3d video thing, quite a fast pinball. it puts baby pacman way down the list i did try to snaffle the revenge pinball offering him both of mine, i even offered a defender, no joy. im sure i can wangle a deal out of him next time i see him i will offer more stuff. mrs bud is now getting hooked on pinball i have promised her i will get more, but its going to take time. i nearly finished the maze in mr + mrs pacman, iamcromby completed it first shot closest i have been is 1 dot short. world cup soccer is a real fun pinball plenty happening with lots of features, the same for judge dread loads of features. the only problem for me with judge dread is that its too wide for me, im not comfy on widebody pinballs. good to see jugemsclous again pity he had to leave so soon. so al in all another great day of pinball action. special thanks of course must go to jon and nikki for the time and effort put in. i dont eat cakes much, but there was a very nice cake getting eaten, dont know who made it. so thanks again to our hosts jon and nikki for putting on another great day for us to enjoy. cheers. john bud

	spent the weekend trying to configure the hardare in the id cab, still gubbed mrs factor would have had a great time. it was a good display of pinballs. the revenge pinball was weird ??? the screen reflected onto the playfield, which made the top third of the pinball look like 3d roz was well taken by it. i could have got it for the id cab, but it wasnt happening hope its sunny in germany its raining here there is 1 more meet before the biggy, so hopefully you and the mrs can make it for that 1. oh and the cactus canyon was a joy to play, very very smooth game play and comfy with it.
