Thank you VERY much everyone! I managed to get it working YAY! I replaced the other 3 caps on top and under 2 of them it looked like they had or started to leak, so cleaned it up and soldered in the new ones. Tried it and had the same result, so I then concentrated my cleaning efforts on IC 19/20/21, gave it another go.. still no dice. So in a last attempt I took out the 3 chips and cleaned the chip holders also while I was at it I took out the tiny chip at IC18 and I have no clue what it does but a couple legs where not straight and there was some corrosion/rust on on one leg. After cleaning that all up I fired it expecting no change and BINGO everything was working full graphics with no errors and I managed to play it through to the end.
Anyways thanks for all your advice!

JVS-PAC is the naomi equivlent of an I-PAC.
As the screen is vga then setting the pc to 640*480 vga mode should be enough.
As for JVS-JAMMA you need a Namco or river service JVS-jamma convertor (both are like gold dust) but they both assume you have a tri-sync monitor and don't upscalr 15Khz - VGA...

Yeah I tried three of them. Quite strange as it was working fine and then I switched it off to change board and it wouldn't come on again. It's no big deal ill just head to maplin on Tuesday and grab a replacement. I realised I have no idea what a fuse in a psu even looks like. Quite a lot of the stuff is heatwrapped so I just gave up. The Supergun is awesome though. Really enjoying it! I wanted to butcher and old pc for the power supply but the mother in law has it now.]]>

Was thinking more the fuse in the kettle lead. Weird it's died as it was practically brand new, might be worth checking with another kettle lead just to see what happens]]>

Lunar Lander is one of my favourite vector games (along with Battle Zone),I have good memories of playing LL in the arcade with the volume cranked up,the flashing cone lights and the deep sound of the thrust sound, good stuff!
