I work with someone who used to be in the arcade business and dealt with John (who was co owner of electrocoin). Lots of interesting stories, one where John was called to fix a pinball machine as the glass was all shattered and blood all over it. Upon clearing up the playfield he found a human finger.

Wow what a find and an awsome thread to read. Great it has gone to someone with mass love for the game too. For years I poopoo'd bubble bobble, I was even offered an original PCB for free and turned it down, saying let someone that likes the game have it....few years later I am now playing the gameboy advance version daily wishing I had the pcb of it, tastes change, the game really is an addictive beast with plenty of learning to be had. To find this proto version is just utterly utterly brilliant.
