Lucky for sure, just about every classic you could want in there, most looking very tidy too! Makes you wonder how much they pay for that sort of find.

Parts update here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfMRfspe748

Absolutely amazing haul of cabs there! Surprising that so many work as well, and the fact that nearly all of them look like they're in really good condition as well! Smile
Currently looking for: Ridge Racer PCB set (or Rom set), maybe a B+W game pcb of some sort :)

I wonder a bit about the story behind it all. All the cabs are dirty and dusty, but there are loads of new parts, NOS parts, repro artwork and so on. Seems the original owner put a lot of effort into hoarding, but not so much when it comes to the manual labor. LOL

Wow, that's some haul! Nice to have a proper walkthrough of all the cabs and see exactly what was there. Some cabs I haven't ever seen before in that lot too.

Bubble Bobble Twin Galaxies Official Score 6,060,730, Rainbow Islands 9,999,990, Road Fighter 1,174,510.

Is it wrong for me to want to move to the states just for this hobby? I've been waiting patiently for my holly Grail cab and yet I do a quick search eGay (US) and they're 10 a penny.

I know America is a much larger country but they do seem to have more options.

Then again, and not trying to downplay the awesomeness of the haul, but getting all your grail cabs at once must leave a massive numbness I think. Stern Smile  I mean, I think I would have been just as happy for getting ten cabs instead of the 100+ here.

I confess I haven't watched the whole video, so I might have missed the bit at the end where he dances around the warehouse with his pants on his head. But how happy does this guy actually sound? He could be presenting a powerpoint on the pantone colour of post-it notes.

lol.  Yeah sorry I am trying to get a little better at making these videos...  As people have mentioned, there is just so much to cover and I always feel like the videos run too long to hold people's interest!  :)

I can assure you all that we are VERY excited about the lot and have been working hard every day to bring them all back up as well as selling the ones that we don't want to add to our collections.  We both have full time jobs so it ends up being a "nights and weekends" kind of thing. Every time you walk out the door you feel like there is just so much left to do!

Anyway, thanks for linking the video here.  I didn't know about this website, but it looks like there is a ton of great info here and look forward to lurking in the future.  I also have a new video that will be up tonight where I give a status update on each game as well as talk about the first few sales and pricing on the initial lot of games going out to market.

Thanks!

Hey @TheArcadeGeek, and welcome to J+!

First off, congrats on this amazing haul. Don't worry about the lenght of the videos. Just running through the warehouse wouldn't justify the find I think, and I like when you go into details about each and every game. I've subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work and bring those games back to life!

Thanks guys.

I had an audio issue with the video I shot yesterday, so I am going to do a new one today and will have it up on the channel tonight.

This one will go over the current working status of each game as well as pricing on the ones that we listed for sale so far.  We have about 15 or so that went out to Craigslist yesterday.

Let me know if you want to see anything specific and I'll make sure to add it in to the next one!

Thanks!

The current plan is to get them all (or most) working and then sell the ones we don't want.  We each have arcades at our houses so we will likely split them up NFL draft style.

We are giving ourselves about 3 months or so to get them working and sold, then we will split the remaining games up.  I personally have room for 10 or so in my house.  I'll likely keep more than that though if they don't immediately sell.  Once the kids are out of the house, we plan to move to a place with more land and I'll have a larger arcade space at that time.  My wife tolerates the hobby, which is nice lol.

Sounds like a plan! And good idea to give yourselves a deadline, or you will find yourselves buried alive forever.

As for requests, I would very much want to see them turned on. A tour of the ones you know are working for instance, games you find particularly interesting and so on. I have enjoyed your analytic approach to this so far, so just continue what you're doing. Thumbs Up

Just posted a new video this morning.  This one goes through where we are after 2 weeks of working on the games.  I also talk a little about the games that are ready to go out for sale this week.  I know that shipping to the UK wouldn't be very "cost effective" but I am open to it!  :)

Thanks for watching!
